Many of the services below are FREE and if they are not they are as close to free as it gets. Telephone:

Remember the old days when business had to pay the phone company for a business line?! Well, thanks to Google those days are over. By using Google Voice you will be given a local phone number that you can then forward to a cell phone or land line of your choice. Google voice also allows you to create your own custom greeting. Best of all it if free of charge in the Continental States and pretty much free to anywhere else.

Fax:

Turn your computer into a fax machine without buying any fancy equipment. Efax is not free but for under $20 a month you can receive faxes right to your computer and send faxes from your computer as well. The faxes you receive are send right to your email as pdf documents.

Create custom invoices and keep track of owe owes you money and how has already paid by using Freshbooks online. This simple yet effective online accounting system is great for new businesses.

Legal:

Whether you need to form a business, looking for legal forms, or any other legal business or person filing you might need Legal Zoom does it for the best price we have found out there. They really do not have any free services but they are about a tenth of the cost of a lawyer and there is always someone to talk to if you have questions.
